The Malon D. Mimms Company is a privately owned commercial real-estate firm based in Roswell, Georgia. Founded in 1962 as a continuation of the Mimms family company which began in 1929, the Mimms Company specializes in developing, leasing and managing retail, industrial and office properties. The company’s primary emphasis is on established centers, working with redevelopment of existing, older centers with active submarkets. The company also focuses on developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with tenants. We pride ourselves in being much more responsive and tenant-focused than many other commercial real-estate firms. With over 65 years of service and commitment, the Mimms family of companies has proven itself to be a leader in the commercial real-estate market. While most of our properties are located in the Metro Atlanta area, the company has expanded to other states in the Southeast, with 10 shopping centers in South Carolina, three in North Carolina, four in Florida, and one in Tennessee.

The family-owned business has a sister company, Mimms Enterprises, owned by the three sons of Malon Mimms. Between them, the two companies own and manage over 9,000,000 square feet of property with over 1,150 tenants within retail, industrial and office properties. In 2005, the Mimms companies were ranked by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as the fourth largest overall owner and the largest privately held owner of retail real estate in Atlanta.
